Removing a User

If a user should no longer have access to Propel Rx (i.e. no longer works at the pharmacy), they should be removed. Removing the user does not compromise any prescriptions or transactions completed by the user as they will continue to be linked to the removed user. When a user is removed, their initials will no longer display in any user dropdown lists or the Security window.

Once a user is removed, they cannot be re-added. You must create a new user.

To remove a user:

  1. Open the Security window using the ADM or Pharmacy Manager user.

  2. Select the user who you wish to remove.

  3. Select Remove.

  4. Select Save.

  5. Select Exit. A prompt reminds you to log out and back in on all computers to apply the changes. Select OK to close the Security window.
